Your questionnaire
Your answers are saved in this browser tab’s session storage so you can continue the questionnaire. After the questions, your selected answers are sent to our server and to Anthropic to tailor your styling guide. Answers waiting for processing are temporarily stored in an encrypted job payload. They are normally removed from that payload after the job completes or fails; interrupted jobs are scheduled for deletion within two hours. The photo review begins earlier, when you consent and choose “Use photo & start.” We do not ask for your name, date of birth, or social accounts.
Your photo and AI processing
Only upload a photo of yourself that you have permission to use. We request your consent before sending it for analysis. Your browser creates a smaller JPEG copy without the original file’s metadata. Our server checks and normalizes that copy. We temporarily store the processing payload encrypted in our Neon PostgreSQL database so the background review can finish if you close the page. It is normally removed from active job storage after processing succeeds or fails; interrupted uploads are scheduled for deletion within two hours. We do not publish your photo.
The resized image is sent to Anthropic’s API for a photo-based color suggestion. Later, a separate text request combines that suggestion with your answers to personalize style advice. Hosting and database backups follow their providers’ retention policies; removing an active job payload does not immediately erase those backups.
The selfie camera opens only when you choose Take a selfie. You can review or retake the photo, and the camera stops when you capture or close it. Your photo is sent for analysis when you consent and choose “Use photo & start.” The review runs while you answer the questionnaire.
Anthropic’s processing and retention are governed by its own commercial service terms and privacy policies. Our deletion button removes data held by this app; it does not directly delete provider-side operational records. Learn more at Anthropic’s data retention guidance.
Your private report
We save the generated report, a random photo-request identifier and processing status on our server, so returning to the quiz can recover a review without uploading your photo again. We retain a hash of the normalized answers to prevent duplicate personalization requests; the generated advice can reflect your stated preferences. An essential, secure browser cookie identifies your session and keeps other visitors from reading your report. Unpurchased guides expire after 7 days. Purchased reports are available for 365 days from payment; download a copy to keep it longer. Expired records are removed during routine database use. A purchased guide can generate a private recovery link. We store only a hash of its random token; the link lets you reopen that one report in another browser. Keep it private. Clearing cookies may end access unless you have saved this link or your downloads. This version does not provide email recovery. We also store the most recent report identifier in your browser’s local storage to help you find it again.
Payments
Purchases use Stripe’s hosted checkout. Stripe processes payment details; we do not receive or store your full card number. We retain the checkout identifier and paid status with your report to confirm access. Stripe may retain transaction information separately under its own policies. Essential service records
We use essential session cookies and request limits to operate the service and protect it from misuse. Hosting and AI providers may retain technical logs under their policies. We count daily aggregate events such as quiz starts, completed steps, and confirmed purchases to understand where the service can improve. We also count AI requests and reported token usage by day, processing stage, and model to track service costs. These counters do not contain your photo, answers, report content, identity, or IP address. This version does not include advertising pixels or third-party behavioral analytics.
Deleting your analysis
Use “Delete my analysis” at the bottom of your results page to remove the report and its checkout association from this app. Deletion is permanent and does not automatically refund a payment. To clear saved questionnaire answers, use “Start over” when resuming the quiz or close the browser tab. Closing a tab does not cancel a review already accepted by the server.
Your choices
You can explore the site and sample guide without uploading a photo. If you do not consent to AI photo processing, do not submit a photo. Seasonal color analysis is style guidance and is not used here for identity recognition, medical decisions, or sensitive demographic classification.
